From the East…components fill the work table, the choosing begins… a shield shaped charm with seated Buddha and Tibetan inscriptions on front and reverse. A bell with a soft and sure jingle of the same bronzed metal. A beaded pathway to the hand cut spear of vintage leather. made of metal and clay seed beads, and faceted black tourmaline rutilated quartz. Within the leather a fragment of gilded velvet, crushed sage and incense, the stitches embellished with old black glass seed beads. Suspended with deer skin and joined to a “clasp” fashioned of black leather, with a simple loop and bead closure.
