Bisque fired, tinted with a red ochre staining ritual, I form the wings with layers of 18th century French book fragments and hand dyed papers edged with gild, I added a simple adornment… a removable vintage metal charm. Mounted to 2 slices of storm fallen wood, the lower piece finished with oil, the higher piece left raw.
