Casting the Sigil of Dreams… towards a double ring of an unknown planet and sigil formed of collaged metals and painted textile fragments. The hand of the Dream Caster is painted on artist’s canvas, mounted to vintage kimono silk and reclaimed wood with live edge and natural characteristics. The Dream Caster wears a hand made, stamped brass and hand etched copper arm piece, a replicated design fragment from the mystical running antlered animal designs and tattoos of the Scythians, ancient nomads of the Eurasian Steppes. There is subtle mark making on the bottom third of the panel… words written and smudged away… like much of their history, and a cross-like star directional of the night sky.
