Painted on coarse artist’s cotton… grays, black, gild… each paint skims the surface texture creating a layered pattern. A “medallion” on finer artist’s linen in the wrought gold Scythian art style is centered and hand sewn to the larger piece. The left and right lower corner medallions have hand made fringe of painted and torn linen and leather.
With a black cotton velvet reverse that does not slip.
