Oracle Bells ~ Tranquility Amulet
Hand formed clay in bell shapes, carved with ancient symbols and marks that I have collected, each bisque fired and left unglazed to hand stain and color. Instead of the expected clapper, there are stones and metals of different ages, from different places, intuitively chosen and joined by color harmony. Not ringing bells or wind chimes, they are the oracles, messengers… when we listen… joined to driftwood with simple woven cord, embellished with Labradorite, old turquoise, clay, glass, vintage seed beads, metal.
Suspended with a simple hand woven cord and attached to a piece driftwood.
Ethereal… this one silent, no sound in the wind.

Hand made potter’s clay bell shaped forms, bisque fired but did not return to the kiln for glaze, carved with symbols and layered with studio color, these are not ringing bells or wind chimes, they are the oracles, messengers when we listen… joined to driftwood with simple woven cord, embellished with seed beads, metal, vintage clay, genuine turquoise and labradorite beads.
