Hand made, pit fired Raku textured vessel, chocolate brown with deep wine undertone, at midpoint an iridescent copper dark wine, holds ceremonial wild turkey feathers of russet, dark brown and black. They are bound in tobacco suede with hand dyed raw silk, and detailed with a circle of vintage metal beads. Spirit beads drape the neck of the vessel. Hold them in your hand in contemplation, prayer, meditation …a Buddhist medallion is joined with small antique clay, mixed metals and glass beads between collected wooden beads… salwag palm wood, old Mediterranean  olive pits and hand made beads made of drilled branch segments. Each piece is the echo of the harmony with nature.
