Mysteries of the moon, in darkness she comes to full glory, without the day’s distractions she rules the vast heavens and our imaginations, the Goddess heralds all of female wisdom, power, magic, she has come from the Raku fire crackled green-turquoise, both matte and iridescent, her head tilted in homage to her wondrous realm, her waning crescent moon of hand painted and cut artist’s canvas, the ends stitched with gold metallic thread… her neck adorned with braided and knotted raw linen, a dangle of a single excavated ancient 1,000 year old crystal bead, rough faceted moonstones and tiny antique tear shaped locket, her reverse holds linen strands with moonstone, metal and old beads. Mounted on 2 tiers of reclaimed wood, closer to the stars… gently worked to keep all of the natural characteristics.
