REMEMBERING

It’s not easy to explain the depth of relationship and connection we have with our horses. For those of us that share our existence with them, no words are ever needed. We suffer their loss in immense ways; their absence is a crater sized empty space in our souls.

We choose not to let go of their meaning in our lives, all of the lessons learned and shared. We honor them and our relationship with them. Guided by your story, their story, any saved horse hair and natural materials, a Remembering is created. Each  a small work of art, one of a kind and as unique as the relationship you shared with the horse you have loved.

These are some of the the custom pieces created in memory of a beloved horse. The tassels are decorative, not keychains, to be hung in the home or barn. The braided piece is mounted to reclaimed wood with custom etched metal “shields.” All of the stones have particular meanings that weave the story of this horse and those that loved him.
