All about the Goddess … They want to say the wearer of a winged helmet is Mercury, Hermes, Roma but I see the Goddess, long before her powers were relinquished to male gods, her temples fallen, her name spoken in whispers… a simple brass medallion with beautiful stamping and light patina, the Goddess is joined to a tapering stack of natural, iridescent silvery-gray-mauve freshwater Keshi pearls, two ancient excavated 1,000 year old rock crystal beads from Sahara and a tiny ring of antique rhinestones. Ancient glass, moonstones, pearls collected beads and antique French steel seed beads meet a small linked antique brass chain with lobster clasp closure. Delicate but not, each stone carries the lore, and beauty worthy of the Goddess.
