Hand made footed and handled Offering Cup, pit fired in the Japanese firing technique Raku, fire blackened, molten and touched with studio paint. Like an ancient unearthed artifact… to hold your sage, incense cones, crystals, sand with stick incense, tea light and your smudging feathers. Rooster feathers of darkest brown and ivory tipped with lush red - orange and burnished copper, joined with persimmon duck feathers and an antler tip, bound with pale dusky pink velvet, encircled with a vintage rhinestone bead, faceted old red coral, pyrite and brown raw silk.

The rim of the cup is notched and the smudging feathers sit well, the overall palette is truly gorgeous!
