A beautiful old statue with traces of gild and lotus design details. The raised right hand of the Walking Buddha is the Abhaya mudra of no fear, protection, peace, benevolence. The Buddha is mounted to a hand painted, hand etched, hand blackened copper platform with a design fragment from antiquity. The metal candle and incense cup with copper insert has gone through the same metal working process. The base is an organic, inundating slice of salvaged storm wood from an incredible tangle of fallen trees.

The wood has been refined and finished but never to the point of losing the natural characteristics. Burn your incense or our imported hand made monastery beeswax candle. 4 are included.
