The Scythians of the Eurasian steppes were nomadic horse people of the 8th and 7th centuries BCE and deeply connected to antlered animals. Their recurring design variations of scrolled animals appear on artifacts, clothing and even ancient tattoos. Many mysteries about these people remain but the beauty of their art and design still hold us in awe. Translated from their ancient animal art and style that has been found in this region and etched into nickel. The metal plaque is mounted to an antique wood fragment, standing with two metal legs and mounted to a bronze base.

The ancient antlered animals continue their run through time. Their journey continues.

Stands almost 4” tall, the wood 2” tall X 3 1/2” wide. The base is2 1/2” wide x 1 3/4 deep X almost 2/8” thick.
